JOB DESCRIPTION

The Account Executive will position Ippon’s technology-focused solutions primarily to Financial Services organizations, based on our experience in Banking, Insurance, and Capital Markets. This is a sales role narrowed in on finding new, strategic growth opportunities. You create demand, nurture, negotiate, and close deals. You are a self-starter – a driven person. You are smart, social media savvy, digitally responsive, and have previous consultative sales experience.

The ideal candidate will have three things:

An entrepreneurial mindset

Locally cultivated relationships within the financial services industry

Consultative business development experience selling projects to enterprise customers

Roles & Responsibilities:

•               Partner with marketing and practice managers (Product, Data, Cloud / DevOps, Software Engineering) to create demand and identify opportunities

•               Drive revenue and market share with Fortune 1,000 companies

•               Ensure customer satisfaction and consistent engagement

•               Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan

•               Create and articulate compelling value propositions around Ippon services

•               Accelerate customer adoption

•               Maintain a robust sales pipeline

•               Help Ippon grow our strategic technology partners relationships (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Matillion, etc.), as well as developing new relationships

•               Manage contract negotiations

•               Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts

Basic Qualifications:

•               5+ years of technology-related sales experience

•               3+ years of direct field experience selling software, data and/or cloud solutions to financial services companies

•               Passion for helping organizations leverage cutting-edge technologies to solve challenges and scale appropriately

•               Experience in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals

•               Experience in positioning and selling technology to new customers and in new market segments

•               Experience in proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer’s business

•               Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership

•               BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required

Preferred Qualifications:

•               Track record of developing sustainable new business

•               Extensive network in the Atlanta area

•               Strong verbal and written communication skills
