Job Description
Summary: As an Animator at Client, you will be launched forward into creating
our industries highest quality visual demonstrations, marketing, and training
products. The main function of an animator is to create 3D designs and
concepts. A typical animator needs to have a high level of creativity and able
to communicate their ideas to both internal and external clients. The
ability to be flexible to client demands, work well under pressure and
multi-task are required skills. Job duties include, but not limited to
Animation, Rigging, Key Framing, Camera and machine animation, storyboarding,
2D graphic animation, Text animation, Composition, and Rendering.
Responsibilities include:
- Adhere to the company’s brand voice and appeal to the target audience to
increase public engagement
- Applies an assigned technique for critical thinking in a decision-making
process
- Assists in assessing risks, benefits, and considerations of alternatives
- Delivers helpful feedback that focuses on behaviors without offending the
recipient
- Listens to feedback without defensiveness and uses it for own communication
effectiveness
- Makes oral presentations and writes reports needed for own work
- Avoids technical jargon when inappropriate
- Communicate with customers to understand their business goals and objectives
- Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive
and user-centered solutions
- Create designs with intention
- Build animations for product groups based on need
- Plan and implement new designs
- Test for intuitively and experience for current and new designs
- Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements
Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
- Produces graphic designs, using a variety of techniques and software, for
both print and electronic communications (e.g. promotions, advertisements, and
instructional materials) distributed through a variety of media outlets
- Create animations for marketing and engineering teams

Typical task breakdown:
- Interprets customers' project needs into feasible creative ideas and
information; provides recommendations in the creative production process.
- Participates in the collection of customer needs for creative work and gives
suggestions on the implementation of strategic plans for creative execution.
Interaction with team:
- Multiple times daily in meetings and online communications
Work environment:
- Office 5 days per week
Education & Experience Required:
- Minimum 2-year degree in Animation, Computer Graphics, Multimedia Arts,
Rendering, or similar
- 5-7 years industry experience
- Art portfolio link required
Top 3 Skills
- Deep knowledge of After Effects, Adobe software, Autodesk Maya, and
Microsoft Suite required
- Animation, Rigging, Key Framing, Camera and machine animation, storyboarding,
2D graphic animation, Text animation, Composition, and Rendering
- Additional 2D software’s
Additional Technical Skills
(Required)
- Creativity, verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving
ability are required.
- Experience with animating and the core concepts of animation.
- Ability to visualize in 2D and 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of
design.
- Understanding of Lighting, Scene Creation, 3D material workflows, and
creating realistic textures.
- Previous experience generating new images.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Critical thinking and strong reasoning skills
