Title: Associate Engineer, Post Production Systems Support

Location: Stamford, CT

Type: 6 Month Contract w/ Extension possibility or Conversion

PLEASE NOT: Hours can range from 8am-12 midnight. Some version of an 8 hours shift from M-F (with some Sat and Sun work) This is normal in the Broadcast media space. Very typical hours. 

• Window more important than Mac.
• They want people who will step up and own the problem through resolution. They have a ticketing system now but will be moving to Jira Service desk app.
• It is a layed back environment but need people to be thick skinned and take some End user pressure.

• Basically a help desk role, supporting multiple systems – front-line support of all systems
• Of the systems/applications mentioned in the JD and some combination of a few below will be fine:
  • You do not need all:
    • Avid: Avid ISIS/NEXIS storage, media composer, Interplay, Media Central
    • Adobe bundle: After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator
    • They are a Cisco house for networking
    • Storage: Isilon, Harmonic, Quantum, Synology
• MUSTS:
  • Troubleshooting skills:
    • will be performing break/fix stuff
    • Signal flow: this is around audio systems
  • Customer facing:
    • must be professional
• MUST be flexible, they will be working nights & weekends:
  • Could be their shift is Thursday – Monday, or some other combination of days
  • Everyone on the team is flexible and understands the nature of the work they do, all hours (24x7) support, so this new person should be the same

  • This person will join a team of 6 people
  • It’s NOT siloed, this means everybody supports everything:
