Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
Help Buyers gather supplier information and pricing information for bills
of material to be sent to suppliers
Manage Buyer Lognet workloads (i.e. Loading quotes for parts, approving
facilities to suppliers, etc.)
Help RCCA of metrics performance issues (past dues, shipping and quality
performance, etc.)
Leverage enterprise tools to manage cost (i.e. project loads and updates)
Create and manage dashboards:
program health, supplier health, resiliency progress, Cost Reduction
activities
Spend analytics
Adhoc Reporting (contract management, CPA Tracker, SPM Tracker)

Why this Role?
- Working in the E&T Procurement division, supporting the Electrification
and Energy Solutions division, this role is critical to ensuring our
organization is partnering with suppliers who provide world class quality and
shipping performance. This role will help to make the team more efficient and
deliver services to the enterprise at a lower cost. This role will get
visibility to cutting edge technology and take part in New Product
Introduction programs that are unique to the industry.
Typical task breakdown:
- Loading quotations into enterprise software; Leveraging Microsoft Office
tools, Run ad-hoc, weekly and monthly reports for the Work Director;
collaborate with Buyers and Engineers to send suppliers prints, drawings, and
bill of material information; Dig into enterprise tools to find root cause of
supplier performance issues. Support Buyers in creating slides for report
outs and presentations.
Interaction with team:
- Working alongside global team on daily tasks and taking part in in-person
and virtual meetings

Education & Experience Required:
- High School Diploma Required w/ 7+ years of experience; Bachelor’s
Degree preferred (4-7 years experience)
- experience working in purchasing, finance, engineering, clerical or sales
Technical Skills
(Required)
- Microsoft office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word., etc.)
- Experience learning software quickly
(Desired)
- Familiarity with Client systems and tools
- Experience negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships and
performance
Soft Skills
(Required)
- Team player / Good at collaborating with others
- Ability to work independently on assignments and tasks
- Excellent communication skills required
