Job Title: Commodity Manager
Location: Houston TX (Onsite)
Contract Duration: 5 Month (Extendable)
This role focuses on leading end-to-end software procurement and strategic sourcing initiatives within a complex, cross-functional environment. The ideal candidate will independently drive supplier negotiations, manage contract execution, and deliver measurable cost savings across software and related technology categories. Responsibilities include developing and executing category sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships through effective SRM practices, and partnering with internal stakeholders to align procurement decisions with business objectives. Strong experience in software licensing negotiations (including SaaS and enterprise agreements), data-driven decision-making, and stakeholder management is essential. The role requires someone who can operate autonomously, navigate ambiguity, and consistently generate value through commercial negotiation expertise and continuous improvement in procurement processes.
