Summary:
The main function of a communications director is to represent the company to
the public. A typical communications specialist will serve as the public face.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring timely, creative and accurate dissemination of news,
multimedia content and information.
- Create content for a variety of platforms including social media; ensure
quality accuracy and effective reporting that aligns with the corporate
message.
- Decide which content and news presentations are of priority for reporting and
building a proper platform for its deliverance.
- Assisting in the writing, editing and presentation of corporate
communications for the purposes of both internal and external presentation.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, or applicable field of
study.
- Skilled writer, previously having published content on a corporate scale
preferred.
- Proficient in computer software programs such as Microsoft Office and Adobe
Acrobat.
- 8-10 years of experience.
Additional Role Details:
This role's primary responsibility is to manage and deliver BCP trade shows,
manage assocaition events, and dealer communications.
Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
- This role will contribute to the marketing team by planning and delivering
trade shows, association events and support dealer communications.

Typical task breakdown:
- Write and coordinate dealer communications for the BCP marketing team
- Full planning and delivery of 7-9 industry trade show experiences per year,
including on site work. Trade show planning includes, machine management, space
design, messaging (in partnership with the rest of the team and partners), lead
generation and pre-show, on-show, and post-show communications, and reporting.
- Planning and delivery of trade association experiences, including on site
work. Planning takes place in partnership with associations strategy lead and
industry leads within the business, including lead generation and pre-event,
on-event, and post-event communications, and reporting.
- Develop innovative solutions that help us maintain market leadership,
especially in the trade show and events space, specifically with customer who
do not do business with Client today.
- Contribute to insights that inform future product decisions, marketing
strategy, and industry direction.
Interaction with team:
You will work with people from diverse backgrounds and locations, strong
relationship building skills are key. Daily team interaction is essential.
Travel is often required to better understand regional business environments
and to develop and deliver marketing initiatives. You’ll also gain experience
working with government agencies, industry associations, dealers, and
customers.

Education & Experience Required:
- Years of experience: 8-10 years of experience.
- Degree requirement: Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field
- Are there past or additional job titles or roles that would provide
comparable background to this role: Event consultant, Marketing consultant,
trades show consultant, marketing support
