Assists in creating and following mechanical and electrical design schedule, from specification concept to system up completion, while keeping to an overall project schedule.
Testing, evaluating, modifying and calibrating products and instruments.
Analyze plant processes, design and implement improvements Troubleshooting issues with hardware and processes.
Analyze project requirements and perform technical calculations supporting design including electrical requirements, robotic safety standards, and motor controls.
Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed for all work completed. Salary $95,000yr+ DOE. Position is in Mossville, IL. Email resume to positions@harveynash.com
Requirements
Bachelor Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or similar and 1+ years of experience
Controls engineering experience
Familiarity with Feedback control systems
Experience in Hardware-in-the-Loop
Experience with Proportional-Integral, Proportional-Derivative, state-space, and similar control techniques
Experience using MATLAP, Simulink and QUARC
Understanding of Software Concepts and Languages
Strong problem solving skills
Experience with both mechanical and electronic components and systems
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
