Controls Engineer/Electrical Engineer (# 8017)

Why this Role? This role is working with the latest technology in telematics. The role is a great mix of desk work on machine testing which helps accelerate the knowledge growth of the employee. The validation is ensuring our products are End-to-End validated ensuring our customers are objectives are achieved. 

Typical task breakdown:
- The expectation of the individual is to be highly motivated. Software releases document the new content which is to be verified on many devices and machine platforms. 

Interaction with team: 
-  The technology team has 8 team members split into 3 groups. There are several mandatory meeting each week to stay informed on the day to day tasks and timelines. This role will have a team lead to guide the daily work activities.

Team Structure
- There are 3 sections of the technology team 2 of them work very close together. These 2 groups will have overlap of the required tasks. The primary work will be on Remote Services, Remote Troubleshoot and Remote Flash. This is a group of 4 team members. We have a close connection to our process partners where weekly updates will be part of the role. 

Work environment: 
- In office 5 day work weeks at Peoria Proving Ground is the expectation. We work in all kinds of weather so dress for the weather is expected. You will be working with the entire Earthmoving product family of machines. Typical work hours are 7-4. 

Education & Experience Required: 
- Years of experience: 1-3 Years, will 
- Degree requirement: Technology degree, Bachelors in engineering
- Do you accept internships as job experience: Yes
