Assist with
Data clean up and creation of reporting and dashboarding
Summary:
The main function of a Data Analyst is to coordinate changes to
computer databases, test, and implement the database applying knowledge of
database management systems.
Job Responsibilities:
Work with senior management, technical and client teams in order to
determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, best
practices for advanced data manipulation, storage and analysis strategies Write
and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of
database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions Design,
implement, automate and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes
Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct
programmers and analysts to make changes Test programs or databases, correct
errors and make necessary modifications.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as
computer science, computer engineering or related field required 2-4
years applicable experience required Experience with database technologies
Knowledge of the ETL process Knowledge of at least one scripting
language Strong written and oral communication skills Strong
troubleshooting and problem solving skills Demonstrated history of success
Desire to be working with data and helping businesses make better data driven
decisions
Contractor R&Rs
• Recurring Reporting (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly) according
to set formats
• Assist with ad hoc reporting, if given example data and set
format
• Data Cleaning
o Maintaining accurate Global Fleet Assets Assigned and
Current locations
o Maintaining accurate Global Fleet Assets Category and
Subcategory Assignment
o Ensuring asset fields are used consistently
• Data Investigation
o Deep dive asset history, including past vehicle use and
ownership changes
o Locate and investigate records related to vehicles not at
their assigned location and vehicles not in service
• Dashboard maintenance and modifications
o Ensuring quality for automated data flows
• Submit and own to execution system access requests
Contractor Experience:
• Strong documentation skill and attention to detail
• Experience developing SQL queries
• Experience defining data structures
• Experience editing records in Salesforce
o Developer or configuration experience is a plus
• Experience editing records in SAP
o Developer or configuration experience is a plus
• Experience defining data structures and metrics
• Prefer experience with automotive industry and data
• Prefer Python experience
• Purpose of this team – Team focuses on processes,
data, systems and reporting related to Global Fleet. They handle the asset
record management, pulling out monthly reports that is shared with
stakeholders, and driving system enhancements to help the team better
facilitate the execution of tasks.
• Surrounding team & key projects - Global Fleet
has vehicle records distributed across multiple smart sheets, Excel files,
invoices, and other document. Some of these records may need to be gathered
from customer and partner teams. Global Fleet wishes to add all vehicle records
to Salesforce to establish a single source of truth and to maintain these
records going forward. We request that a contractor collect these records,
standardize their format, create or update them in Salesforce, and verify their
accuracy.
