Must Haves: 

  • Hands-on experience delivering data projects (data pipelines, CRM, Braze campaign management)
  • Write use cases and requirements, align data to business rules and requirements, lead functional and technical design discussions and work with delivery and engineering teams to deliver the product
  • Working knowledge of data technologies and trends including, but not limited to: data management (tools/approaches), data reliability, CI/CD, data modeling, knowledge of elements of enterprise data systems
  • Strong prioritization and leadership skills, including timely and proactive communications of timelines, status, issue escalation
  • MarTech experience (Google Adwords, Facebook, Kakao, LINE etc)


Job Description

As a Data Product Manager, you will shape and deliver on a data roadmap that expands our abilities to use data to inform insights and improve our brand consumer experiences. You will collaborate with business functions, privacy, security, engineers, architects and other product managers to ensure delivery of data ingestion, quality, aggregation, access and visualization capabilities and products to deliver business results.

 

We are looking for a collaborative individual who is laser focused on delivering the best business outcomes for the organization and equanimity in a rapidly changing data landscape. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to stitch together strategic goals to executional details, translate technical capabilities to business outcomes, and manage stakeholders in a global matrix organization. The successful candidate will be able to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround and effectively escalate as required.


Job Responsibilities:

This person will be responsible, but not limited to the following:

  • Manage data products through their lifecycle from business opportunity, build, deploy and business change management particularly clear communication to align stakeholders throughout lifecycle
  • Partner with business to identify and understand new ways to use data to support insights and activate in consumer experience.
  • Work with cross functional teams to analyze and document requirements to deliver data projects on schedule and within agreed scope to deliver business results
  • You will collaborate with your Business, Engineering, Data Science and Product Partners and Governance: making tradeoffs, managing the workflow with business and technical teams to drive to build the best products
  • Write use cases and requirements, align data to business rules and requirements, lead functional and technical design discussions and work with delivery and engineering teams to deliver the product
  • Ability to lead through influencing in a matrixed organization (i.e. people follow without having hierarchal direct control/reports)
  • Create measurements to guide decision-making about the future of data products


 Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years experience creating digital products in a product or technical delivery role
  • Data experience with cloud technology stacks – GCP, AWS and Azure
  • Working knowledge of data technologies and trends including, but not limited to: data management (tools/approaches), data reliability, CI/CD, data modeling, knowledge of elements of enterprise data systems
  • Proven experience explaining complex technical concepts in a clear, concise and credible manner to business people and technical experts so they can be debated for best solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize information to develop recommendations, and ability to persuade / influence organization pursuit of recommended path
  • Strong prioritization and leadership skills, including timely and proactive communications of timelines, status, issue escalation
  • You have the ability to simplify strategy into achievable actions
  • Extreme attention to detail and ability to self-audit work
  • Past experience working with DMPs and CDPs preferred
  • Past experience working internationally is a plus
