Design Engineer

Summary:

We’re in search of an experienced Design Engineer with FMEA and DFMEA experience. In this role, you will be taking ownership of Rental gensets fueled by diesel primarily for North Americas region. You will be engineering contact for suppliers for CPPD, NPI, CPI and other Material cost reduction (MCR) projects. You will provide support to engineering team as SME on NPI and other maintenance projects those require complex calculations, redesign of existing product and integration without impacting production of current product. You will be providing shop support to solve complex technical problems, to maintain regular production to meet customer delivery dates. You will work with people across multiple organizations expanding your professional contacts and develop an understanding of the diversity of Client and its systems.

Location: Mossville, IL or Lafayette, IN

Duration: 12 Months

Status: Onsite

MUST HAVE skills:

·         Seguin System and Process Knowledge

·         Genset product knowledge

·         Experienced at using Client ET

·         Experience using Creo, and TeamCenter.  

·         Troubleshooting experience

·         Client design experience

Education Requirements:

·         Associate degree in electrical/Mechanical Engineering with minimum THREE years' experience.

·         Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering / Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent with minimum TWO years' experience.

·         Master’s degree in an Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering projects/internships will be considered toward experience minimum, but durations must be listed on resumes.

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position is $38 to $41.
