Director of Sales


The Director of Sales will support global growth by developing, managing and mentoring the sales account executive team to generate revenue and achieve individual team and organizational quotas. The DS will be a high-impact individual capable of formulating and executing outstanding business results and first-class employee development. The DS will be responsible for allocating resources, performing employee reviews and evaluations, participating in strategic deals, driving relationships with sales leadership, and backing up team members as needed to grow business. The DS will actively work with their team members to solve difficult problems and coordinate corporate resources when required. This position requires constant partnership and collaboration with leadership, sales strategy, talent development, and various groups within the company to deliver first-class results from onboarding to mastery. The successful candidate must exhibit an optimistic attitude that aligns with a fast-paced, collaborative and fun company culture.


Responsibilities:

- Optimize sales operations with standardized processes

- Recruit, train and manage a high performing sales team in order to achieve greater account penetration and increased overall revenue year-over-year

- Work on the building of playbooks and training material for AE’s to optimize scale and growth of the team

- Provide support and guidance to direct reports by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings

- Establish performance budget for all sales divisions, analyze results, and provide feedback to senior sales management on a continual basis, to proactively improve top line revenue, as well as Gross Profit

- Manage and report on sales activity to management

- Exhibit enthusiasm for technology, motivation to independently expand technical knowledge, and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and correctly

- Demonstrate intelligent, charismatic, positive “can-do” personality over the phone and in-person

- Be resourceful, adaptable, and motivated by the dynamic environment of a growth-stage startup


Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a relevant field

- 7-10 years’ experience within enterprise technology engagement and sales leadership

- Proven track record as a sales leader with great energy, leadership, and initiative to drive team performance and sales for an enterprise team, including account executives and SDR group

- Highly analytical with strong complex problem-solving skills and financial modeling experience

- Highly self-motivated, goal driven and creative, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

- Demonstrate exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation and leadership skills

- Maintain capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines

- Be passionate about the details, do what it takes with speed, resourcefulness, and a positive, go-getter attitude regardless of the tasks at hand

- Enterprise B2B SaaS Experience is a big plus

- Experience with CRM – Hubspot – SFDC is a plus

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
