As a Firmware Engineer V, you’ll play an integral role in developing and fine-tuning firmware, drivers, and host-side support for a cutting-edge wireless gaming headset. Required Skills
- Minimum 10 years hands-on experience with Qualcomm firmware and toolchains.
- Minimum 10 years of professional programming experience in C/C++.
- Minimum 10 years working with embedded systems using Qualcomm compilers and tools.
- Proven ability to debug using JTAG and other debug pods.
- Experience with USB, BR/EDR, and BLE communication protocols.
- Skilled in using test and measurement equipment to troubleshoot firmware issues.
Nice to Have Skills
- Direct experience with Qualcomm headset SDKs.
- Prior work on firmware for high-volume, battery-powered consumer electronics.
- Knowledge of wireless communication technologies such as 802.11, Bluetooth, and USB in audio devices.
- Experience designing and implementing production firmware publishing pipelines.
- Development of real-time embedded audio system features for consumer devices.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Design Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong background in embedded systems engineering with a focus on audio device development.
Other Requirements
- Must be able to work onsite in Redmond, WA five days a week.
- Ability to work in a collaborative lab environment with minimal required meetings.
- No travel requirements.
