Responsibilities
- Conduct validation tests (environmental, thermal chamber, vibration lab).
- Perform hands-on testing under engineer direction.
- Report findings, escalate issues, and coordinate priorities.
- Support camera/lidar team and company systems team.
Candidate Requirements
Top 3 Skills:
- Initiative – proactive, independent, motivated.
- Hands-on capability – comfortable fabricating, testing, troubleshooting.
- Technical literacy – able to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and basic electronics.
Additional Notes:
- Electronics experience strongly preferred.
- Soldering/super circuit board work is a plus.
- Welding-only backgrounds are not suitable.
- Fabrication skills are positive but secondary.
Education & Experience
- Preferred: Associate’s degree.
- Open to:
- Bachelor’s degree holders (risk of mismatch; role is technician-level).
- High school diploma with 10+ years relevant technician/electronics experience.
- Not suitable: Master’s degree (considered overqualified).
