Job Description
- We are looking for a ETL
PDI (Pentaho Data Integration) developer with minimum of 6 years’
experience for a 12-month contract role with our client in Jersey City,
NJ.
- Responsible for the
development, design, and implementation of new or modified software
products or ongoing business projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Working closely with other
developers, designers, business, and systems analysts
- Develop applications.
- Provide guidance on
industry best practices, guidelines and governance for web applications
and web sites.
- Work closely with Quality
Assurance to ensure end product is delivered with quality outcomes.
- Perform benefit analysis
for IT solutions and make recommendations for technology direction.
- Researching, designing,
implementing and managing software programs
- Testing and evaluating new
programs
- Identifying areas for
modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these
modifications
- Writing and implementing
efficient code
- Determining operational
practicality
- Developing quality
assurance procedures
- Deploying software tools,
processes and metrics
- Maintaining and upgrading
existing systems
Qualifications:
- Technical Degree or
related discipline
- Experience in designing
and building applications in various languages.
- In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools
A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and
maximum hourly wage for this position is $80/Hr. to $90/Hr.
