Job Description:
Client is seeking a qualified Contractor position for Financial Analyst 2 -
Warehouse Operations Finance Management Analyst. This role will be responsible
for Warehouse Operations cost management and analytics.
Overview & Responsibilities:
·
Analyze,
verify, dispute financial data/invoices and present material in a professional
manner.
·
Track,
measure, report, and support Internal Management (Warehouse, Contracting, and
Finance) and external service providers (3PL’s) in regard to all aspects of
cost management and analytics.
·
Develop,
implement, and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures
related to cost management of warehouse operations.
·
Communicate
with the vendors to collect invoices and necessary backups, to reconcile
issues, and to pay them timely and fairly.
·
Prepare
cost analysis on warehouse operations and logistics costs for use within
warehouse management.
·
Improve
financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, and identifying
trends.
·
Participate
in annual budget planning and cost saving activities in corporation with each
unit part team.
·
Issue
Risk Management and support ad-hoc reports as directed by the management.
·
Create
supporting material, analytics, and presentations for management reviews and
meetings.
Qualifications:
·
This
position requires a strong analytical background with the ability to analyze,
verify, dispute financial data/invoices and present material in a professional
manner.
·
Demonstrated
success in collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze problems,
gathering information, generating options, and driving action.
·
Accustomed
to working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and has the ability to work
under time pressures.
·
Bachelor’s
Degree in Logistics, Finance, Operations Management with 7+ years of relevant
experience.
·
Knowledge
of key supply chain/logistics processes and current best practices.
·
Strong
analytical skills with the ability to develop and create original analyses.
·
Strong
interpersonal and consensus building skills.
·
Previous
experience using SAP WMS is desired.
·
Strong
skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, focused on Excel and PowerPoint is
desired.
·
CPA
preferred.
Education
and Years of Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5-7 years related experience
required
