Financial Operations Associate (# 6877)

Harvey Nash has partnered with a rapidly growing fintech organization focused on revolutionizing the way people manage their investments. They are in need of a Financial Operations Associate to work a full-time schedule with hybrid onsite expectations out of their Nashville location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage Client Transfers: 
•    Ensure accurate documentation and record updates for incoming and outgoing custodian transfers, coordinating with internal teams for efficient processing. 
•    Manage internal account transactions including transfers, conversions, distributions, and removal of excess, ensuring compliance and accuracy. 
•    Oversee communication channels, operational documents, and external partnerships to ensure accuracy, responsiveness, and effective collaboration with issuers, banking partners, and third-party vendors. 

Handle Financial Transactions: 
•    Process inbound and outbound financial transactions (checks, wires, ACH),including reviewing documentation, verifying fund allocation, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Execute timely resolution of transaction errors, chargebacks, and returns to maintain accurate account balances. Facilitate collaboration with banking partners, submitting service tickets for technical issues and maintaining regular communication. 
•    Collaborate with other teams to streamline new strategies and enhance processes for operational efficiency. 

Facilitate Investments: 
•    Review client & issuer private investment documentation and execute investment directives, ensuring timely completion.
•    Complete client investment distribution transactions, monitoring queues for unsolicited transactions or errors. 

Promote Operational Excellence: 
•    Submit service desk tickets for any account-level or issuer-related issues requiring engineering support, ensuring timely resolution and accurate communication. 
•    Support cross-functional initiatives related to compliance, product development, client experience, and treasury requests. 
•    Investigate and triage escalations across multiple channels while providing accurate and timely responses. 
•    Support projects related to ledger accounts, bank accounts, finance and compliance processes, and reconciliations. 
•    Leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities for improvement, enhance processes, and support decision-making through effective reporting and performance monitoring. 
•    Develop and maintain documentation of procedures and workflows to ensure operational efficiency.

Leadership Responsibilities: No people-leader responsibilities.

Education and Experience: 
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred 
•    Relevant FinTech, or finance and accounting experience are recommended 
•    2+ years of work experience is required
