Summary:

We’re in search of an experienced GIS Development & Support Specialist with experience in developing and maintaining complex GIS data and maps.

 Here are some of the specific details:

Job Title: GIS Development & Support Specialist

Location: Frankfort, KY

Duration: Long Term Indefinite

Status: Hybrid

 

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

Broadband Mapping – The successful candidate must have at least two years of experience developing and maintaining complex GIS data and maps. This includes data editing (preferably including data design and management as well), map production and web or mobile map creation. Strong experience with the ESRI technology stack is required. Experience using ArcGIS Pro is preferred.

Other duties:

  1. Geodatabase Management
    1. Creation and maintenance of ArcGIS file-geodatabases.
    2. Loading spatial data into enterprise geodatabases.
    3. Performance of advanced editing and spatial queries using ArcGIS.
  2. Cloud-based geospatial content management
    1. Publishing of GIS feature classes on ArcGIS Online.
    2. Creation of webmaps and feature services using ArcGIS Online.
    3. Configuration of dashboards and simple applications on ArcGIS Online.
  3. Automation using
    1. Python.
    2. ArcGIS Notebooks.
    3. DOS and other command line interfaces.

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position is $23/hr. to $25/hr.
