Role Description:

Our client Online division is seeking a Global Portfolio Manager with a passion for process, data, and solutions. Responsibilities apply to the oversight of the Portfolio processes and flow that connect strategy to execution. Reporting to the Global Agile PMO Lead, collaboration is key as we work across multiple brands and markets globally. The right candidate embraces systems thinking, has hands-on experience in a SAFe or agile environment, is self-driven, and focused on applying best practices and continuous improvement in an iterative, ever-evolving organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Portfolio flow following the SAFe Lean Portfolio Management, through the full planning and delivery lifecycle, ensuring governance is applied consistently
  • Facilitate Portfolio ceremonies that drive the Portfolio process and flow, partnering with Regional Portfolio Managers, ensuring adherence to the process and actions are acted upon to support the flow such as decisioning
  • Identify impediments and remove blockers to support the Portfolio flow and drive the overall flow's continuous improvement
  • Support processes for capacity planning and funding of teams at the Portfolio level
  • Ensure the transparency and visibility of the portfolio, create and govern portfolio-level reports 
  • Promotes and encourages collaboration and transparency and builds trusting relationships between business, delivery, and other entities within the organization
  • Partner with Agile PMO and DevOps team members to ensure proper setup and usage of Tooling (e.g. JIRA)
  • Support Community Of Practice (COP) by actively engaging and contributing to best practices

Who You Are

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • A minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience including in a PMO, preferably agile PMO (LACE or similar), and/or in the role of Release Train Engineer 
  • Experience working within an Agile organization and strong knowledge of methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and data management skills and tools experience
  • Have the ability to facilitate, collaborate, communicate, and manage to various levels of the organization as well as the ability to influence and persuade 
  • Possess strong leadership, decision making, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills 
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), across all levels and roles across the organization on business and technical topics

Preferred:

  • Extensive experience in Agile PMO tools suite usage, workflow/mapping, and Atlassian tools + plug-ins
  • Experience in Global and/or multi-Branded corporations
  • Experience within a SAFe Agile Organization including certifications and/or strong knowledge of the framework
  • Experience managing WSJF prioritization techniques for Portfolios
  • Experience in a Lean Agile PMO/LACE or similar
