Position Details:
Title: Graphic Designer 4
Location: Irving, TX 75039 (Hybrid – 3 days/week
onsite)
Duration: 6 Months Contract (Possible extension)
Job Description:
- Need
someone translate technical business information into visually engaging
and executive-friendly content using PowerPoint and other design tools.
- Experience
in PowerPoint and ability to create visually compelling presentations for
executive audiences
- Experience
with Adobe Illustrator or other Adobe design software
- 2D
& 3D Animation skills (not required but a plus)
- Portfolios
presentations required. Seeking more of Power Point presentations with
information typed in. Looking for charts, graphs from data given, business
presentations, business trends, etc. 2D and 3D aesthetic aspect of the
designs in the presentations.

Education:
- Associate's degree in design
and/or certificate in graphic design required. Bachelor's degree in design
or related field preferred.
- 7 -10 years’ experience
required.
Technical Skills
- Mastery of PowerPoint program.
- Previous experience using the computer to create layouts and generate new
images.
- Create charts and graphs from data given.
- Board information, business presentations, internal and external
websites.
- Creating Power Point presentation for business meetings.
- Graphs, pie
charts, business trends, updates, etc

Job
Description
The main function of a graphic designer is to create designs, concepts and
sample layouts based on design principles and concepts. A typical graphic
designer needs to have a high level of creativity and able to communicate their
ideas to both internal and external clients. The ability to be flexible to
client demands, work well under pressure and multi-task are required
skills.
Position’s Contributions to Work Group
- To provide consultation, support and project management within the Energy
& Transportation segment in the areas of graphic design, art direction,
production and systems applications for a broad range of media communications,
publications and corporate material while delivering high quality and
cost-effective solutions.
- Plan, analyze and create visual solutions to communication problems.
- Develop overall layout and production design of publications or web
interfaces as they relate to graphic design.
- Prepare sketches or layouts to present to client.
- Create charts and graphs from data given.
Typical Day
- Create PowerPoint presentations that tell a business story or explain complex
engineering concepts for internal and external audiences.
- Willing to learn the business in order to better convey information through
graphic designer.
Interaction with team:
- Consults with customers to determine key objectives, target audience, budget
constraints, delivery timeline and develops media recommendations to achieve
customer objectives.
- Develops concept proposals including media selected and project schedule with
major milestones.
Work environment:
- Office environment.
Disqualifiers/Red Flags:
- No experience with PowerPoint.
- No experience in other graphic design applications.
- Inability to present concepts to internal clients.
Travel Requirement: 0-25%
