Pay: $19/hour

The IT Asset Coordinator is responsible for the monitoring and execution of asset

management processes and procedures to ensure a compliant and optimized IT

hardware and software environment. The IT Asset Coordinator will work under the

guidance of the IT Asset Manager on building out and maintaining a sustainable IT

Asset Management capability across the company. The IT Asset Coordinator will be

responsible for managing IT assets throughout the lifecycle including tracking,

purchasing, shipping, receiving and exception follow-up to resolve issues. This is a very admin heavy role. Procurement experience is a PLUS. Only one year previous admin, procurement,or purchasing experience needed. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the procurement of IT equipment, management of the IT asset

database, tracking and maintaining accurate inventory records and reorder

points, and logistics including managing the incoming and outgoing shipments

  • Ensure software purchases are completed cost effectively and to licensing

requirements

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of asset management policies,

procedures, systems and measurements in order to manage the asset portfolio,

identify risks, track costs and control adherence

  • Process invoices to ensure the appropriate allocation of firm IT asset purchases
  • Participate in projects and work efforts requiring procurement and vendor

coordination such as moves and office remodels. Ensure deliverables are

completed on time and to expected level of quality

  • Prepare and analyze financial and operational reports utilizing asset records and

vendor-provided reports to include calculations of cost and value

  • Work with team members at local offices to maintain inventory levels and

inventory control

  • Complete internal audits of software and hardware records to ensure accuracy

and vendor licensing compliance

 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience required; experience in IT Asset
  • Management or Procurement preferred
  • One or more of the following certifications preferred: ITILv3, CITAM, CSAM,

CHAMP

  • Experience in process d delivery associated with asset management or

procurement Proven ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff,written and verbal

  • Exceptional active and attentive listening skills to demonstrate interest and

understanding to enhance customer satisfaction and business collaboration at all

staff levels

  • Understand and interpret KPIs, SLAs and other IT service performance metrics

for self development and growth

  • Ability to work as an effective team member as well as a self-motivated individual

contributor. Proven ability to deliver high quality work on time and with minimal

supervision

  • Capable of embracing and adapting to technology and business environment

changes in order to ensure customer experience and adoption

  • Ability to interpret large raw data sets and conduct data analysis and audits
  • Approximately 10% travel required
