Job Description

- Leadership

with Extreme Networks, Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 load balancing, Global
connect VPN, Aura VoIP systems, good understanding of Cloud architecture.

written and verbal communication skills.

financial details (understanding of budgets/service rates).
- Writing
IT policy and procedures.
- Adherence
with IT regulation and compliance; publication 1075, CJIS, FedRAMP, HIPPA,

of State procurement processes

relationships with vendor partners

to work with architects, engineers, subject matter experts in

- Report to the CABINET Office of Infrastructure Services
- Oversee Enterprise network operations and voice services for KY Executive Cabinet Agencies.
- Provide leadership to the CABINET Division of Network Services:
- Core Network Operations (WAN, MAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, F5, Firewall, Primary, failover data centers),
- VoIP and Facilities Engineering (Aura Enterprise VoiP platform and network engineering)
- Edge Network Management: (Cabling teams, legacy telephony systems, switching environments)
- Provide leadership to the CABINET Division of Network Services:
- Work within ServiceNow ITSM modules (approvals, task orders, Asset provisioning, Incident, Chg, Request assignments)
- Monitor network performance tools/alerts.
- Provide Team support during core business hours
- Provide Team On call response for afterhours critical outages
- Collaborate with IT professionals (CABINET, Agencies, Vendors à projects, timelines, escalations, exceptions, incidents)
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies
