Job Title: IT Program manager (On-Site)

Opportunity
- Responsible
for change management and local platform portfolio, for projects delivery,
vendor contracts and the risks management. Builds and maintains close
relationships with the Business operations department and stakeholders to
qualify and forecast demand for business-driven IT needs, rationalize the
tech debt drive the modernization/digitization for the terminal as per the
tech standards. Responsible for IT and technology contracts management and
compliance.
- This position is based in Los Angeles, California and its 100% on-site. This position is eligible for relocation benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible
for project scope and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and
ensuring technical feasibility for Technology rollout & IT
Integrations projects and new buildouts.
- Responsible
for Project Setup Process: review project documents, review contract
information is accurate and consistent with proposals, pro forma, project
set-up form, and subcontractor quotes.
- Manage
outsourced vendors or contractors, negotiate contracts for services, and
monitor service level agreement performance of vendor; develop action
plans for any corrections identified.
- Drive
the standardization and the rationalization of the local portfolio of tech
solutions and ensuring strong alignment with global standards.
- Review
and implement compliance procedures and tracking mechanisms to ensure
compliance with local contracts, vendor SLAs, including maintaining all
contractual documentation, ensure all contractual documentation is
consistent both from a technical and contractual perspective.
- Responsible
for developing and managing the budget to run and maintain the It
Department portfolio.
- Act
as the local point of coordination for all portfolio deployments across
the region (Heatmaps and Policy Deployments).
- Ensure
terminal constraints and/or specificities are well captured during the
development of new project implementation.
- Effectively manage stakeholders across platform teams, functions and terminals to reach agreement on conflicting priorities
Preferred Skills
- Education
– University or higher vocational degree and certification in
Information Technology, Business management, or related discipline is
preferred.
- Experience
– Minimum five (8) years of applicable and transferable knowledge and
experience as a Project Manager, Service Delivery Manager or PMO.
- Transportation
or shipping industry experience is required.
- Active
Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is
preferred.
- Strong
operations & technology background, with specific exposure to the
portfolio in operational domain.
- Experience
of providing effective demand management for IT portfolio.
- Experience
with driving standardization of an IT across different business units.
- Sound
financial planning and analysis experience (TCO, costs/budgets mgmt..)
