Jira Admin - 8 Months Contract - Tempe, AZ (Remote)
We need experience managing a server, with experience in JIRA to give them contextual understanding on what is going on with the server"
Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project/program. May require a bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. JIRA AND WORKFRONT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Must HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE WITH JIRA, THIS INVOLVES RESTARTING THE SERVER, TROUBLESHOOTING, SERVER/SYSTEM LOG, ETC.
Responsibilities: The contractor will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of Jira. They will be actively collaborating with the sponsors and the migration team. They will be having meetings and communication with managers regarding the tasks that they are responsible for. They will provide information and reports of the status of the program to senior leadership. Stakeholders and users will be assisted by the contractors in setting up new tasks and projects. If there are blockers that the contractor comes across, they will be in contact with project owners to find actions that they can take to unblock them.
