**Special feedback from HM: Candidates submitted so far are too heavy on data analysis which is great, but HM is looking more for candidates with Business Analytics - solid experience interfacing with the business to present business insights. They must have Tableau experience and knowledge of building dashboards from scratch (setting up Tableau dashboards).

**Location: Looking for candidates local to NJ only! Must be able to report on site once offices re-open.

**Work samples: Please attach dashboard reporting examples along w/ resume in Beeline as a bonus! Regardless, HM plans to assign a presentation prior to interviewing candidates (details to be shared once candidates are shortlisted).

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a highly analytical, driven and collaborative Financial and Business Analyst who will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role supports the Retail Operations team with Ad Hoc reporting, dashboards and analytical requests.

Roles and Responsibility:

• Design, develop and Tableau based dashboards to analyze and display key performance indicators (KPI) that monitor the health of the Retail Operations business.
• Collate data from various sources (including SAP, Excel, Sql, internal and external databases) into meaningful and impactful reports.
• Create and manage a repository of reports, templates, and data to serve as a knowledge base.
• Use critical thinking, data analysis to analyze business processes and recommend process and automation enhancements
• Financial planning and reporting (Budgeting, forecast vs. actual reporting)
• Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly status (On Time, On Budget) reporting for several key projects with high level of visibility
• Create templates to collect information from various sources/vendors to ensure data integrity and accuracy

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative/analytics-related discipline
• 3+ years of experience with Tableau dashboard design and delivery with examples of previous work
• Experience in designing and developing dashboards in Tableau, Excel and Powerpoint
• Experience in extracting data and creating reports in SAP (or similar ERP system)
• Expert level experience in Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Smartsheet, Tableau

Top 3 must-have skills/requirements:

1. Tableau dashboard design and delivery
2. Experience in Tableau, Excel and Powerpoint
3. Experience in extracting data and creating reports in SAP (or similar ERP system)

Preferred: VBA Macros

Education: Bachelor’s degree in quantitative/analytics-related discipline (flexible if qualified)

Years of experience: 3-5 years of experience with Tableau dashboard design and delivery with examples of previous work, ad-hoc reporting experience
