Job Description:

• Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced DevOps environment.
• This role will report to the VP of Infrastructure.

A Day in the Life Will Likely Include:

• Your ability to work in a fast paced, highly matrix environment to achieve group goals
• Your desire and aptitude for learning new technologies
• Your dedication in ensuring operational performance of production network routers and switches
• Your ability to perform software and hardware upgrade and network design optimization and implementation based on established guidelines.
• Your ability to develop scripts and/or programs to use automation and eliminate manual tasks.
• You are energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated, able to build and sustain long-term relationships across a multitude of stakeholders in a fast paced, multi-directional work environment.
• You have exceptional analytical skills, able to apply expertise to drive complex, technical and highly commercial solutions.

Sounds good? What You’ll Need to Land this Job:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related focus, or equivalent experience
• CCNA Certification. Desirable
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as IAM, EC2, EBS, ELB, RDS, S3, Route 53, Gateways, VPCs, DirectConnect, CloudWatch. Desirable
• 6 or more years in the telco industry or related multi-demographic environment and passionate about technology.
• Knowledge of IPv4, IPv6, QoS, Multicast, IP Routing Protocols like EIGRP, OSPF, BGP & L3VPN.
• Knowledge and experience with switch, router & firewall platforms from Palo Alto and Cisco.
• Ability to quickly analyze situations, identify problems, and provide solutions.
• Written and verbal communication skills including ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
• Scripting skills with Python, Perl and API experience. Desirable

Interpersonal skills and the ability to balance multiple work assignments simultaneously.
