Jr. Network Admin
Job Description
- Monitor,
configure, troubleshoot, upgrade, and install various network devices,
including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points (WAP), and
other associated equipment.
- Document
and update network physical layouts, logical connectivity, and device
configurations with Microsoft Visio or equivalent application.
- Managing
all network back-up and restore activities.
- Creating
and reviewing security and traffic reports with management to adjust
network and firewall policies.
- Working
with vendors and carriers to monitor and resolve carrier related issues.
- Working
with the help desk and end users to troubleshoot and resolve network
issues.
- Working
with end users and providing end user help desk support on an as needed
basis.
Skills and Qualifications
- Working
knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP and other protocols
- Working
knowledge of routing and routing protocols
- CCNA
certified or 1-2 years of experiencing configuring and deploying Cisco
switches.
- Experience
with building and creating firewall policies.
- Experience
with Visio and Network diagrams.
- A

reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum Pay rate for this
