Job Title: Logistics Specialist 3

Location: Santa Ana CA 92707 (Onsite role)

Duration: 6 Month contract

Client: Telecommunications and Electronics 

This is a cross-border logistics initiative managing all container shipments between the U.S. and Mexico (including South Carolina). The project involves coordinating logistics operations and system integration for major clients such as Best Buy, Goldman, and Walmart.

Key Responsibilities and Operations

•    Commemoration Process: We are tracking and coordinating container movements and linking them to key client orders (22 titles/customers).

•    System Oversight: We work closely with SPS Commerce, a third-party vendor handling EDI and system integration, to resolve customer-facing issues like vehicle assignments or system errors.

•    Daily Operations: This involves active communication with SPS and forecasting monthly revenue projections based on POs, shipments, and delivery schedules.

•    Reporting: The team reports shipment progress and revenue forecasts to SCP (Supply Chain Planning), Human Sales, and Division Management.

•    The individual we are hiring will focus on developing a performance system to automate and streamline workflows between our internal systems and client platforms.

•    Client System Integration: For example, Best Buy uses a custom employment system. We aim to integrate that with our WMS (Warehouse Management System) so that:

•    A button click in our system triggers a call or order sync with the client.

•    Data flows back to our system automatically to support visibility for the sales team.

Desired Skills for the Role

•    Understanding of logistics processes (preferred but not required — training will be provided if needed)

Technical skills, especially in:

•    WMS (Warehouse Management System)

•    Python programming (for system integration and automation)

•    SQL

Note : 

•    Candidate should have Data analytical skill with Professional Excel Experience , Macros will be added advantage. 

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position is $32to 35/hour
