Why this Role?
- Development of centrifugal casting method and associated manufacturing parameters to enable
- Elimination of Silicia exposure risk associated with traditional casting methods
- Single piece product flow with full traceability

- This role is a mix between R&D and execution of the associated DOEs.
Typical task breakdown:
- Prepare/ Startup equipment for the day
- Document results from prior day experiments and findings
- Execute the daily DOE task
- Hand off to counterpart on trailing shift
Interaction with team:
- Discuss results from prior day
- Document adjustments for daily task
- Communicate any needs or roadblocks
- Participate in weekly update meetings with leadership
Team Structure
2 agency workers and 1 FTE reporting to WD
Work environment:
- Majority shop floor 75%
- PPE:
- Metatarsal guard Steel toed boots
- Foam Sealed safety glasses with strap
- FR Pants and Jacket
- Bumpcap
Education & Experience Required:
Years of experience: 2-4 years industrial experience required.
- Degree requirement: Bachelor's degree in engineering required. Willing to accept Associate’s degree with 4+ years experience; can consider Masters but minimum of 2 years experience
