Summary:
The
main function of a marketing analyst is to research market conditions in local,
regional, or national areas to determine potential sales of a product or
service. A typical marketing analyst is responsible for gathering information
on competitors and methods of marketing and distribution.
Job Responsibilities:
- Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data.
- Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating
with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other
professionals.
- Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as
surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data.
- Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and method of
marketing and distribution.
- Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications
programs and strategies.
- Develop and implement procedures for identifying advertising needs.
- Direct trained survey interviewers.
Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service
and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling
products or services.
- Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and
methods.

Typical task breakdown:
- Manage LEC Customer tour In box
- Assist dealers and Client representatives in planning their visit
* Facilitate internal communication to ensure all components and details for
the visit, including hotel reservations, transportation and dinner reservations
are secured when requested.
- Manage the TOUR LEC calendar for Witness Tests and Customer Visits
- Schedule the tour guides for tours
- Confirm welcome presenter for visits
- Share dietary requirements with Office Admin and review weekly catering order
- Review conference room set ups prior to customer visits
- Complete the worksheet and type the agenda
- Prep the weekly Customer visits reports
- Prep the weekly agendas for internal distribution
- Prep a timeline for visit days with more than two visits per day.
Education & Experience Required:
- Years of experience: 5 or more years office / customer service
experience
- Degree requirement: high school diploma or GED
