search of an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong alarm management
expertise, including alarm rationalization, ISA-18.2 compliance, and
optimization of mechanical system alarms in mission-critical environments.

Duration: 04 Months
Qualifications
• 5–7 years of professional mechanical engineering
experience.
• 2–3 years of hands-on alarm management experience, including alarm
rationalization and setpoint/limit reviews.
• Experience applying alarm management standards (ISA-18.2 preferred).
• Experience working with BAS/controls systems, instrumentation, and mechanical
control loops.
• Experience in mission-critical or industrial environments (datacenters, power
generation, oil & gas, chemical, or manufacturing).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to reduce nuisance
alarms and alarm floods.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, control sequences, and mechanical drawings.
• Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external
vendors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Top 3 Must-Have HARD Skills & years of experience for
each:
• Alarm Management: 2–3 years (alarm rationalization,
nuisance alarm reduction, ISA-18.2)
• Mechanical Engineering: 5–7 years (mechanical/thermal systems in operational
environments)
• Mission-Critical / Industrial Systems: 3–5 years (datacenters, power
generation, oil & gas, chemical, or manufacturing)
