Metadata Project Coordinator
Metadata is at the heart of client Services, powering key aspects of the customer experience including the client TV content, UI, Universal Search, and Siri. The VSO Metadata Ops team ensures the Services products have the metadata quality and coverage needed to offer the best-in-class customer experience.
The Metadata Project Coordinator is an expert of metadata content curation. They will monitor the metadata quality and its accuracy to allow qualified metadata to surface on the TV app platform. Their expertise will allow them to investigate metadata issues and assess its impact to the TV app experience, provide resolutions by identifying process improvements, and seeking opportunities for technical and tactical solutions to better the customer experience.

Job Responsibilities:
• Oversee and monitor ingested metadata and ensure highest quality for featuring on TV app platform
• Curate metadata for movies and TV shows using an internal CMS
• Provide immediate resolutions to functional issues by investigating and working closely with cross-functional teams for diagnosis
• Conduct thorough investigations on reported metadata issues to provide root cause analysis, and improvement suggestions for processes and systems
• Understand system dependencies in order to anticipate upstream and downstream impact
• Use data visualization dashboard to propose data-driven decisions
• Partner with Project Leads to drive operational needs and process improvements
• Use project management tools to collaborate, track, and report in order to meet with project deliverables according to the timeline
• Demonstrate strong and engaging communication and presentation skills to collaborate internally and cross-functionally
• Test tools and provide feedback to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Identify documentation gap and assist in its development

Qualifications and Skills:
• At least 3 years of experience in digital media, technology, or related industry
• An up-to-date and wide variety knowledge of movies, TV shows and social media platforms
• An understanding of the TV app’s services and features
• Possess a deep understanding of complex, large-scale media content management systems (CMS), and how metadata interplays and impacts the end-user experience
• Experience in using ticketing system and escalation management
• Project and/or program management experience, certifications are a plus
• Proven track record of identifying, troubleshooting, scoping and diagnosing data issues in order to resolve or escalate to appropriate cross-functional teams, along with ability to learn from history and prevent errors from recurring
• Strong written and verbal business communication skills
• Proven ability to manage time sensitive escalations
• Highly detail-oriented with ability to multitask
• Ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
• Comfortable with navigating ambiguity to make sound judgment calls
• Experience with some or all of the following: client products (macOS, tvOS, iOS, iPadOS, Keynote, Numbers), MS Office, project management tooling, XML
• Experience with using reporting and data visualization tool such as GBI or Tableau are a plus

Additional Requirements 
• This position may require working at onsite facilities
• Schedule is Monday-Friday on a 8-hour shift daily, between 6am-6.30pm CT. May require to work outside of the normal business hour.
• May require to work weekends and US observed holidays

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position is $36 to $38/hour
