Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
-               Interact with Metallurgical Laboratory and clients to perform failure analysis reports that drive product group engineering decisions.

Typical task breakdown:
-               Photograph as-received part, document all identifying markings, develop and facilitate completion of test plan, create final lab report with conclusions

Interaction with team:
-               Very Collaborative

Work environment:
-               Five days onsite, Primarily office environment with some time in shop and lab

Education & Experience Required:
-               BS in Materials Science and Engineering
-               2-4 years experience required.

Technical Skills
(Required)
-               At a minimum, exposure to metallurgical laboratory equipment

(Desired)
-               Experience performing failure analysis
