**Position:** Network Engineer (Cloud & Infrastructure)  

**Location:** Frankfort, KY  

**Contract Type:** Long-term indefinite contract  

**Job Description**  

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support high-performance networking and telecommunications solutions. This role focuses on developing scalable infrastructure for both on-premises and cloud environments, emphasizing performance, reliability, and security.

**Key Responsibilities:**  

- Assess network requirements and design integrated hardware and software solutions.  

- Plan, develop, test, and implement network systems across various platforms.  

- Configure and maintain infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.  

- Troubleshoot complex network and system issues.  

- Manage hardware installation and software integration.  

- Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.  

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead major projects.  

- Maintain documentation for network architecture and procedures.  

**Required Qualifications:**  

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).  

- 5+ years in network engineering or infrastructure roles.  

- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).  

- Experience with AWS networking services (VPC, Direct Connect, etc.).  

- Proven troubleshooting skills with network and system issues.  

**Preferred Qualifications:**  

- Certifications like CCNP, CCIE, or AWS Certified Advanced Networking.  

- Experience with hybrid cloud environments and automation tools (e.g., Python, Terraform).
