Role: NOC Operations Manager
Duration: Perm / Fulltime
Location: Winston-Salem, NC (Onsite)
MUST HAVE: Linux & Unix
Position Summary: The NOC Operations Manager provides leadership to the Operations team to ensure transactions are processed with the highest level of quality and in a timely manner.
Qualifications required:
- Proven leadership in managing personnel in a data center environment
- Create and maintain formal operations and procedural documentation
- Knowledge of Networking systems and managing Major Telco providers
- Working knowledge of standard computer software, including MS Excel, Office and Word
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or a minimum of 5-10 years practical work experience
- 5+ years of experience running Linux, Unix, and IBM Pure Technology in a production environment
- Experience in administrating and troubleshooting applications in a large production environment (24X7)
- Experience with AIX 5.x, 6.x, 7.x
- Relevant experience in Banking or Financial institutions (Nice to have)
- Must provide coverage for either day or night shift and be available to work weekends if needed
- Must have experience working in a Mainframe and Windows Distributed systems environment
- Formal training in network, computer or server technology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing time sensitive priorities;
- Strong attention to detail to ensure firm policies and procedures are adhered
- Supervise staff of 4-8 employees
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (must establish good rapport with internal and external customers)
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Qualifications desired:
- Knowledge of ACH, electronic funds transfer systems (CHIPS and Fedwire) and Image Exchange
- Knowledge of ISO 20022 Payments format
- ACH Professional (AAP) certification
- Unisys experience
- Should demonstrate a strong knowledge of clearing and settlement functions
- Banking systems background in a batch and or real-time
A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base salary for this position is $90K/yr to $92k/yr
