Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist (# 6782)

Summary:

We’re in search of an experienced Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist. This roles include developing and executing change strategies, coordinating communication and training, ensuring smooth adoption across teams, and tracking project status. Also requires collaboration with various stakeholders to foster a change-ready environment within DMS.

Job Title: Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist

Location: Frankfort, KY

Duration: Long-term Indefinite Contract

 

Responsibilities:

·         Minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing OCM practices for system implementation projects using a standard change management framework.

·         Proven track record of working in governmental or public service agencies.

·         Demonstrated success in managing OCM efforts across diverse business units and IT teams.

·         Ability to assess change readiness, reinforce change, and address resistance effectively.

·         Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills to communicate complex concepts professionally and constructively, including through reports and client deliverables.

·         Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications for reporting, documentation, and presentations.

·         Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems effectively.

·         Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, ensuring high-quality results in a timely manner.

·         Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with diverse teams and stakeholders.

·         In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in OCM, including developing and executing change management plans.

·         Experience leading cross-functional teams, especially in a change-forward environment, and facilitating meetings and presentations

 

Preferred Skills:

·         Formal training or certification in OCM or organizational development is highly desirable.

·         Prior IT experience with Medicaid Administration.

·         Knowledge of agile, waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.
