This critical role lies at the heart of People Operations, and depends on expert understanding of our implementation of Workday by maintaining employee profiles, editing and updating employee personal data into human resources, and managing employee change requests from People Partners across the employee lifecycle. These include hiring, work authorization verification, onboarding, handling employee movement, and terminations. You’ll participate in the overhaul of policies and procedures by writing and publishing documentation that will affect all company employees. Expect to gain deeper insight into Workday and build new skills as we retool the employee and manager experience. In addition, you’ll conduct new-hire orientations. You’ll have the opportunity to grow and develop HR Generalist skills by preparing special reports in areas such as insurance, COBRA, OSHA, affirmative action, and headcount-related matters.

  • A fantastic collaborator who can deliver results without workplace drama
  • 3 years of HR experience (preferred)
  • Workday experience (preferred)
  • Practical understanding of and introduction to business strategy support, Talent Acquisition support, compensation, benefits, performance management and general risk management
  • Comfortable with mapping HR processes to the employee lifecycle to identify trouble areas
  • An aptitude for learning new technology to get work done quickly and accurately

Education and training (desired)

  • BS in Human Resources, psychology, liberal studies - MBA or MA desired
  • PHR Certification desired
  • Developed skills in Microsoft and Google spreadsheet, presentation and copy-editing software
  • Comfortable with corporate video, messaging, and content & collaboration tools (Vidyo, Slack, IRC, GChat, Gmail and Box are used)
