Job Description

The Senior Project Manager will play a critical role in the digital future of our Client.  This role will report to the VP of Innovation Program Management in the Enterprise Technology team. They will be responsible for directly managing multiple medium to large enterprise transformational programs , and for contributing, promoting and instantiating project management best practices across Enterprise Technology. The successful candidate takes initiative and corrective actions as required to keep programs/projects on track, and can creatively think through strategic and technical options to develop measurable solutions while maintaining a positive, can-do attitude, and professional presence. Critical to the role is a transformational mindset to drive both cultural and technological change across the company, with strong “change agent” soft skills to enable smooth transition to new processes. They must have a deep understanding of project methodologies (waterfall and agile) and tools to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects and have the flexibility to influence diverse, matrixed and dynamic teams to deliver balanced and integrated solutions. They monitor all component relationships and dependencies, as well as overall integration and issues and resolution across their project responsibilities. With strong leadership and communication skills, this role continuously manages expectations and drives results through internal and external stakeholder management from engineering teams, the business up  through senior leadership.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple medium to large transformation programs across the enterprise  that will impact enterprise technology in partnerships with one or more business with a focus on  legal and HR systems
  • Ability to hold vendor-partnership project managers accountable to deliverables
  • Assist in shaping and executing standard program / project management processes, procedures, and dashboards
  • Create efficient processes for managing the demand pipeline (through agile or other methodologies)
  • Assist in developing and implementing a project portfolio management process incorporating demand & capacity planning, prioritization methodologies and alignment to financial budgets
  • Assist in developing best practices, tools & templates aligned to SDLC / Iterative / Agile / Scrum projects
  • Work closely with organizational functions including Information Security & Technology Risk Management, Business and Legal Affairs, etc. to ensure Enterprise Technologies project goals are aligned and action items are being tracked 
  • Interact seamlessly and collaboratively with program steering committees and other executive stakeholders
  • Ability to influence and effect change and bring large and multifaceted audiences onto a journey of transformation


  • 8+ years of related experience across Digital and Infrastructure Technologies Programs and Project Management including at least 3 years of progressive experience in digital technologies
  • Ability to determine right-sizing project management processes in a fast paced environment that is outcome focused and delivery driven.
  • Experience implementing streamlined project management practices across the Information Technology organization leveraging a product portfolio paradigm to manage technology investment
  • Proven leadership ability to influence and ensure that standards and practices are well understood and followed
  • Certified PMP, ScrumMaster, or similar certification, and experience with Atlassian/JIRA, ServiceNow, Smartsheet or similar project management /PPM platforms a plus
  • Ability to effectively manage virtual / hybrid meetings
  • Able to establish rapport with a diverse customer base, both internal and external
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in leading large-scale technology implementations and process changes
  • Strong listening skills and, needed to understand business needs
  • Great attention to detail and follow-up skills
  • Fact-based and data-driven decision maker
  • Bachelor degree in an analytical field such as Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Accounting, etc.
  • Experience in the Media and Entertainment industry a plus
