Global Supply Manager Contract Support (Low Voltage Electrical Control Unit)

We are currently seeking a Global Supply Manager supporting Low Voltage Electrical Control Unit (ECU) and Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) procurement. The Global Supply Manager manages all company business with a group of suppliers and is the key internal interface with Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Quality and Manufacturing to deliver world class products on time and cost effectively. They must identify, develop, and manage the global Supply Chain. They will help establish our global supply chain strategy, support cross-functional teams during the development and industrialization phases and drive sound business decisions throughout the product life cycle.

You Will:
- Work directly with electronic and mechanical component tier 2 suppliers to ensure material clear-to-build (CTB) for Gravity and Midsize proto builds
- Review, analyze and clarify quotations from suppliers and share and present data to supply-chain for driving negotiations and sourcing decisions
- Support supply-chain and engineers with creating purchase requisitions in Coupa and SAP for prototypes, materials and tooling
- Manage supplier development and tooling timelines, part availability for prototype builds/start of production and develop solutions to delays or problems that arise
- Track Air and Gravity tester capacity to ensure testers and tools are ordered in time to prevent supply shortages

You Bring:  
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
- Proficient in Excel, Project, Power Point, Word, ERP systems (SAP or equivalent)

- Ability to mitigate unforeseen problems creatively and effectively
- Understanding of quality principles, product development processes, and data analysis. Able to show teamwork to resolve problems and a thought process to drive successful solutions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
- Strong written and verbal skills, presentation skills, as well as organizational and program management capabilities

- Purpose of this team: Responsible for purchasing materials directly from suppliers, ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement. This includes creating purchase orders, managing contracts, and tracking supplier performance. The team also collaborates with internal teams to manage facility design changes, monitor project timelines, and develop solutions to potential issues.

- Reason for the request: Increase in volume. Midsize launch.
- Surrounding team & key projects: Purchasing and material tracking. PO management for minor tools, expedited tier 2 components. One-off NREs.
- Interaction level with manager/team: Suppliers, engineers and other cross-functional teams
- Chance for extension later? Potential for extension and/or conversion
- Expected working hours: 9am-6pm PST, Mon-Fri (OT as needed)
