Job Description
Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
- Facilitate and develop new elements of APQP including process FMEAs, control plans and process flow diagrams

Why this Role?
- As recently announced, the Large Engine facility in Lafayette, IN is heavily investing for additional capacity to serve our customers, especially in the electric power and data center market. We have announced expansion plans as well as significant capital spending to increase our capacity. This role is key to development of world class processes and risk mitigation.
Typical task breakdown:
- Weekly staff and prioritization meetings
- Facilitate the development of APQP documentation including, but not limited to process FMEAs, control plans and process flow diagrams
- Support and tracking of recommended action from the process FMEAs
- Independent scheduling and leading APQP readiness meetings with manufacturing engineering teams
- Review and /or develop process capability studies, measurement systems analysis
- Create final production part approval documentation (PPAP)
- Formal documentation and presentation at stakeholder updates
Interaction with team:
- Work with many departments to ensure each new capital program is properly supported for every aspect of quality readiness. Including metallurgical testing, metrology equipment, CMM programming, validation results.
Work environment:
- Offices are located inside of factory work setting
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required
- 8-10 years experience required

- Ability to facilitate and create all APQP elements including Process Flow, Control Plan and Process Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (PFMEA)
