Job Description:
Cabinet is seeking a Report Writer (Contractor) to
support ongoing modernization efforts. This remote role will work closely with
an existing report writer, business analysts, and technical staff to convert
legacy Microsoft Access reports into the enterprise reporting application, EEC
Reports Tool (Oracle/SQL backend), assist in creating PDF version of
smart eForms and creating/editing existing reports, as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Report Conversion – Microsoft Access to SQL: We are working on a project
to eliminate all Microsoft Access databases many of which are reports.

Convert Access queries into SQL/Oracle views, stored procedures, and
both simple and complex queries within the EEC Reports Tool.

Collaborate with business analysts to ensure accuracy, functionality,
and compliance.

Contractor must be able to demonstrate on-screen during the interview
process these requirements without the use of AI assistance.
Document
Generation:
·
We have Business Analysts and Developers working to covert legacy smart
webforms to the latest technology. We have a process called Document
Generation which involves creating a Microsoft Word version of the eForm which
industry can save locally.

We have a few large eForms where a Word/PDF version needs to be created.
The Report writer will use an application called GemBox to generate
Microsoft Word documents (converted to PDF) using tag-based templates.
Creating
new reports and update existing reports
·
This report writer will be asked to work with subject matter experts to
learn the data of an existing application and create, edit or troubleshoot
existing reports.
