Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Salesforce Administrator with Apttus CPQ experience to help manage and drive the evolution of their Salesforce environment inclusive of our Apttus implementation. This role is part of the Salesforce administration team and expected to be an active contributor and support our team in maintaining, supporting and improving the Salesforce platform and related system. The senior administrator will also work with triage, technical program managers, development and other internal stakeholders to assist with ticket troubleshooting, develop technical requirements and deliver sound solutions. The senior administrator will serve as a salesforce expert for troubleshooting request from other teams, gather and report on application metrics, build dashboards and use data to correlate and confirm issues. This role requires the ability to work within time constraints, act with good judgment in complex situations, and be able to take effective action in ambiguous situations.

Some of the things you'll be doing include…

* Act as primary technical administrator for Salesforce, Apttus and other applications as needed

* Subject matter expert that is able to speak to system issues and processes with authority

* System expert that is able to analyze and evaluate integrations and business processes

* Mentor and train other Salesforce Administrators

* Act as a point of escalation and resource for SOC team

* Proactively identify ways for the team to improve and assists to implement changes

* Manage incoming tickets, reproduce issues, and provide troubleshooting and resolution or assignment as appropriate

* Support global deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting and resolution for Salesforce

* Build in-depth operational and business knowledge of how systems are used by internal customers, and propose and implement (with developer assistance as needed) improvements

* Responsible for providing support through systems implementation, customization, installation, configuration, diagnosis and problem resolution for 3rd party integrations and internally developed applications

* Track down issues and determine root-cause, feeding bugs and improvement request back into the development process

* Collaborate with Software Developers and TPMs to develop requirements for various initiatives and implement appropriate solutions within the platform

* Configure and maintain sandbox environments to facilitate successful developments

* Contribute to change control, release management and ticket tracking processes to minimize and streamline support activities

Who you are…

* Experienced. 5+ years of Salesforce administration. Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM-201) preferred.

* Experience with Apttus CPQ implementations:

o 2+ years of Apttus administration

o Modeling and configuration of Products, catalog management, and constraint rules

o Modeling and configuration of Pricing including creating and managing Price Lists, Price List Items, Pricing matrix, etc.

o Experience with Apttus CLM, ABO, Billing, and X-Author (Template Management)

o Apttus CPQ, CLM, ABO, and Billing certifications preferred

* Educated. BS/BA in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or equivalent

* Highly Technical. You are skilled in the following areas:

o Salesforce data tools (DemandTools, Data Loader, Force.com IDE)

o Sandbox test environments, including development/staging/production (or similar) deployment cycles

o Embrace cloud-based systems and have a solid understanding of the integration points between cloud and on premise applications

o Software development life cycle and deployments

o Understanding of database systems

o Practical ITIL knowledge and experience
