Job Description:

The Security Manager will be a key member of the Supply Chain Security Team. Primary responsibilities will focus on loss prevention within the E-Commerce space for Mobile and Consumer Electronics (CE) warehouses, as well as ensuring proper support is provided to internal and external partners. This role requires an agile, flexible approach and the ability to work collaboratively with mobile, consumer electronics and home appliance teams.

  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and control mechanisms to prevent fraud, abuse, and other operational risks that negatively affecting Samsung, our customers and partners
  • Develop, track, and report on security metrics across the E-Commerce space
  • Proven ability to work with and effectively influence operational leaders and other key departments within the organization
  • Extensive experience with transportation security and/or supply chain security
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective communication of goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels of an organization
  • Ability to manage programs and initiatives in a changing environment
  • Use tools and data analysis to collaborate with internal partners to identify inventory losses and create strategic plans in an effort to mitigate losses
  • Assist with investigations of internal and external theft and fraud, and conduct interviews when appropriate
  • Maximize partnerships with internal and external management staff from business teams across verticals that include but is not limited to Logistics, Freight Forwarders, Transportation Companies and other 3PLs
  • Utilize C-TPAT, ISO 28000, TAPA and other Security/Quality standards to constantly improve Supply Chain security protocols


  • B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited university in a related field preferred
  • 8+ years prior experience in Security Management and Loss Prevention
  • Preferred experience working within large distribution centers across multiple locations
  • Must be available to travel up to 30%
  • Candidate must have knowledge and field experience in supply chain security, TAPA requirements and C-TPAT requirements.
  • Results oriented leader that possesses strong influencing skill and is comfortable working in a fast-paced ambiguous environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Possesses excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Able to write clearly and succinctly in technical and non-technical formats.
  • Excellent computer skills and comprehension of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • 2+ years data collection experience with root cause analysis
  • Experience with data bases (querying and analyzing) such as SQL, MYSQL, Access, Exception Based Reporting, etc.
