Job Title: Senior Buyer
Location: Bellevue, WA (Onsite)
Contract Duration: 12 Month (Extendable)
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Buyer to support purchasing operations, vendor management, and product catalog maintenance. This role will be responsible for onboarding new vendors, managing product data and pricing, supporting new product launches, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support new vendor onboarding and item setup activities.
- Coordinate new product launches and assist with assortment expansion initiatives.
- Maintain accurate product catalog information, including pricing, costs, content, and images.
- Monitor and update product costs and retail pricing as needed.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy across purchasing and catalog management systems.
- Generate reports and perform data analysis to support business decisions.
- Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Provide backup support for Control Buyer responsibilities when required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of purchasing activities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Buying, Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain functions.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with databases, ERP systems, or product management tools is a plus.
Preferred
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, or merchandising environments.
- Knowledge of vendor management, catalog maintenance, and pricing administration.
