Role Overview
We are seeking VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) certified professionals to support large enterprise customers transitioning toward a modern, consolidated VMware stack. Organizations are increasingly adopting the VCF model to unify virtualization, networking, storage, security, and automation into a single private cloud platform.
This role will focus on helping clients design, architect, and implement VMware Cloud Foundation environments while guiding their migration from legacy VMware deployments to a fully integrated platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise adoption and implementation of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) solutions
- Architect and support migration to a consolidated VMware ecosystem
- Design and deploy integrated VMware solutions across compute, storage, networking, and security
- Provide deep expertise in VMware networking, with strong emphasis on NSX and Avi Load Balancer
- Support deployment of bundled VCF components including load balancing, firewall, and networking services
- Advise clients on private cloud strategy and positioning VCF alongside hyperscalers (AWS/Azure)
- Deliver hands-on technical implementation, architecture guidance, and best practices
- Collaborate with enterprise stakeholders to modernize infrastructure and operations
Required Skills & Experience
- VCF Certification (Strongly Preferred / Priority)
- Senior-level experience as a VMware Architect or Senior Consultant
- Deep hands-on expertise across the VMware ecosystem:
- vSphere (Virtualization)
- vSAN (Software-Defined Storage)
- NSX (Software-Defined Networking) — primary focus
- VMware Aria / Automation & Operations tooling
- Avi Load Balancer
- vDefend (Firewall & Security)
- Strong VMware networking and infrastructure design experience
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale environments
- Ability to explain and position private cloud vs public cloud architectures

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum hourly wage for this position is $75/Hr. to $90/hr.
