Position: Business Professional - Operations Manager 1(Showroom Manager) | 6624-1

Location: Irvine, CA

Duration:6+ months contract (Possibility for extension)


This is a remote job until the office is reopened


POSITION SUMMARY

Manages all aspects of the Showroom including hiring and managing the support staff for all special functions. Presents Dacor products to clients and consumers, either in a group forum or on an individual basis, conducts cooking demonstrations, and answers questions about products to clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures that the showroom is properly managed and maintained t o reflect the company's mission.
  • Must be self organized by planning and scheduling appointments and events to promote brand awareness.
  • Determines when to update and/or upgrade showroom with new appliances to stay competitive.
  • Coordinated delivery of showroom appliances/exchanges/ service between vendor and building.
  • Scheduling of classes, schedules of showroom staff
  • Worked with Dealers and District Sales Manager to coordinate consumers’ visits
  • May assist or directly take sales orders
  • Maintain product knowledge
  • Greet, Assist and sell to customers.
  • Generate and manage lead generation
  • Maintained Accurate Inventory of available product
  • Attend showroom as needed (weekends and afterhours to establish and maintain relationships
  • Organized Lunch & Learn training events for product training .
  • Organized all events held in the showroom
  • Worked with vendors (Caterers, Rental, Flowers, and Décor etc.)
  • Complete special projects and/or all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree from four year College or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • 3-5 years of experience in outside sales or a merchandiser, preferably in a related discipline.
  • Must know how to prepare meals as part of the training requirement and presentations.
