Job
Summary
We
are seeking an experienced Slack Developer with strong expertise in both
Slack administration and development to support enterprise-scale Slack
initiatives. This role will focus on Slack Enterprise Grid migrations,
workspace consolidation, plan optimization, and integrations with business
applications such as Salesforce and custom enterprise platforms.
The
ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and
administering Slack environments while driving large-scale migration and
integration projects.
Key
Responsibilities
- Lead Slack
Enterprise Grid migrations and workspace consolidation initiatives.
- Migrate
organizations from legacy or lower-tier Slack plans to optimized
enterprise environments.
- Consolidate and
rationalize multi-Grid Slack environments.
- Design, develop,
and maintain Slack apps, bots, workflows, and automations.
- Build and
support integrations between Slack, Salesforce, and custom applications
using APIs and webhooks.
- Develop custom
solutions leveraging the Slack Platform, Bolt Framework, and Slack APIs.
- Configure and
administer Slack Enterprise Grid security, governance, and user
management.
- Collaborate with
business and technical teams to improve communication workflows and user
adoption.
- Troubleshoot and
resolve Slack platform, integration, and automation issues.
Required
Skills
- 5+ years of
experience with Slack administration and development.
- Strong
experience with Slack Enterprise Grid architecture, migrations, and
workspace management.
- Hands-on
experience developing Slack applications, bots, workflows, and
integrations.
- Experience
integrating Salesforce with Slack.
- Strong knowledge
of Slack APIs, Webhooks, Bolt Framework, and OAuth.
- Experience with
JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Node.js.
- Knowledge of
enterprise identity and access management (SSO, SAML, SCIM).
- Experience with
Slack governance, security, and compliance best practices.
Preferred
Qualifications
- Experience
consolidating multiple Slack Enterprise Grid environments.
- Experience
migrating users and workspaces from other collaboration platforms.
- Understanding of
enterprise collaboration, productivity, and workflow automation platforms.
- Salesforce
platform development or administration experience.
