Job Description:
·
Senior SDE (Level 4) role focused on media &
graphics diagnostics, not feature development
·
Build debug layers, runtime validation, and
diagnostic tooling for media and codec pipelines
·
Goal is to prevent bugs early by improving
developer-facing errors, warnings, and validation
·
Work inspired by the Direct3D debug layer,
applied to media frameworks
·
Heavy emphasis on systems-level debugging (media
pipelines, graphics runtimes, OS/driver-adjacent code)
·
Analyze recurring bug patterns and convert them
into preventative tooling
·
Improve logging, tracing, and error messaging to
enable developer self-diagnosis
·
Collaborate with Media, Graphics, and Developer
Support teams
·
Success measured by reduced bug volume and
higher-quality bug reports
·
Requires 4–6 years of low-level /
performance-sensitive engineering experience
·
Strong C++ and systems programming background
preferred
·
Ideal for engineers who enjoy preventing bugs,
not triaging them
