·         We’re in search of Supply Chain Analyst 2 to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. Demand Forecasting, Customer Process identification and improvement, Root Cause analysis, Sales trend analysis.

Location: Englewood Cliffs NJ 07632

Duration: 12+ Month contract with possibility of extension

Status: (Onsite)

 

Must-haves:

·         Very detail oriented, strong follow up and organizing abilities.

·         Forecasting & demand planning, root-cause analysis experience in Supply Chain - HM is flexible w/ years of experience (3+ years)

·         Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, V-lookup, formulas, etc.; Macros is a big plus)

·         Great communication & collaborative skills, hard-working, flexible to work OT as needed

·         Need to learn quickly the complicated manual Excel data.


Summary:

·         The main function of a supply chain analyst is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. A typical supply chain analyst is responsible for reviewing and distributing production, work and shipment schedules and compiling reports on inventory levels, cost, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

·         Examine documents, materials and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications.

·         Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.

·         Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.

·         Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.

Skills:

·         Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor and materials.

·         Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.

·         Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.

·         Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Education/Experience:

·         High school diploma or GED required.

·         2-4 years related experience required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES/REQUIREMENTS:

Responsibilities include:

·         Demand Forecasting, Customer Process identification and improvement, Root Cause analysis, Sales trend analysis.

·         Activities have a direct impact on both sales' revenue and profitability within the assigned account base.

·         This position will also maintain strong relationships with customers as well as with Client Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing and Finance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Demand Forecasting

·         Forecast Accuracy Reporting

·         Help to ensure orders are shipped in a timely manner to meet the customers requested delivery date

·         Conduct Root Cause analysis

·         Improvement Monthly Report Semi-annual preparation and monthly analysis

·         Process Improvement, Sell Through Analysis (Customer), Sales Forecast to Actual Sales Analysis

·         KPI (Baseline Improvement)

·         Use of supply chain system for order management, reporting and forecasting

Required Skills:

·         Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience

·         3+ years related professional experience in Supply Chain and/or Operations (flexible)

·         Forecasting or Demand Planning within retail experience preferred.

·         Experience in working directly with customers and maintaining positive relationships with them

·         Proficiency with Advanced Excel data management functions including advanced formulas, pivot tables, V-lookup’s, etc.

·         Self-starter with strong focus on exceeding customer satisfaction goals

·         Must be comfortable working in a fast paced multi-cultural environment

·         SAP Experience a plus.

Education Requirement:

·         Bachelor’s or greater.

Nice to haves:

·         Excel Macro(VBA) experience

·         SAP experience

Top 3 Must Have Skills:

·         Super detail oriented (working with a lot of data and numbers)

·         Organized and follows instructions closely

·         Intermediate to Advance Excel skills.

    

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position is $29 to $30/hour
