Briefly summarize the key responsibilities of the position and why this position exists.

The Supply Chain Operation Team for AMZ/Costco accounts is responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operation for HE/IT categories (TV, Sound bar, monitor and memory products) for the two respective accounts as supply chain functional experts. This team works closely with sales, product marketing, SCM and logistics teams to not only support achieving business goals (sales targets), but also to ensure the operational processes in place are most optimal to maximize inventory efficiently, reduce cost, fulfill customer PO in-time and minimize stock-out. This team also works directly with customers, requiring relationship building with key stakeholders on customer side, to collaborate on key SCM and logistics strategic initiatives and programs. Recently, this team has transferred to Supply Chain Division (from Sales Division) to strengthen and enhance the team’s capability to meet both business and supply chain needs, and integrate to Client’s global supply chain organization.

The Analyst role on this Supply Chain Operations team will be tasked to own updating, analyzing and publishing weekly supply chain reports, including by-Account, by product PO trackers (Order to Delivery status update), Demand & Supply Analysis (using GSCM data), and KPI summaries. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills to be able to provide data driven early warnings to his or her own team (account SCM leads), as well as business planning teams. During business planning meetings and quarterly business reviews, this role will be critical to provide all related data, reports and documentations, and participate in preparation.

  • Manage and update weekly “Order-to-delivery” PO trackers
  • Publish weekly KPI reports
  • Publish weekly Demand & Supply Analysis report
  • Perform analysis based on data to provide early warning and risk items to account leads
  • Become an expert on Client SCM systems, processes and data
  • All other duties as assigned (during peak seasons or promotions period)


How will duties be measured?

  • Accuracy of the data in reports published and requested
  • Feedback from account managers in regards to timeliness and accuracy of the data analysis provided
  • After training period is over and engaged in daily/weekly operations, be able to provide data driven insights to account leads, considering by account/product dynamics
  • Team goals achievement

  • Undergraduate Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Finance, or similar
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ work experience in relevant field
  • Excellent Analytical and Computer Skills
    • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • SAP, Tableau, BI experience helpful
  • Excellent Communications skills (written, verbal)
  • Must be comfortable working in a multi-cultural business environment
  • Must be flexible with working hours
  • Able to concentrate on data for prolonged periods of time
